Visiting Mahsuri island
This weekend will be a long one since Monday is a public holiday. I’m flying off to Langkawi tomorrow evening to mandi beer (beer bathing).

Doing it the motel way
Usually when I travel, I’ll retire for a 3-4 star hotel, sometimes 5-star, it depends. My idea of a holiday is to stay in a nice hotel where I can unwind myself from my normally hectic lifestyle. When I was in Phuket last week, I decided to opt for a motel just for a change. It’s been years that I’ve not stayed in hotel apek (dodgy hotel). I remembered during my university days, we would cramped ourselves at Hotel Changloon on Wednesday nights after drinking sessions at the Chinese restaurant downstairs.
Back from Phuket
I’m back at home after six days and five nights vacation in Phuket. Not so great to be honest because it rained everyday and the rough sea condition was rather unsafe for any activities including island hopping.
Yet another vacation
headsteadi.com will be taking yet another break. In fact, May has been filled with a few travellings. Taking the opportunities for some time-offs before the Mrs and I moved to our new jobs in July.
Rescue Mission
It’s been over a week I’ve not updated headsteadi.com. Pretty busy with work and other stuff till I’ve no mood to update with new postings.
I’ve been frequenting KPMC Puchong Medical Center these couple of days, attending to my brother who’s been hospitalised due to viral infection and dehydration.
Mummified Monk
The statue inside the casket behind me is not a figure made of wax but a real human corpse that was preserved. It’s the famous mummified Buddhist monk, Phra Khru Samathakittikhun.
