I wasn’t happy with my tribal tattoo. The grind was not a completed art and with my big arms, it looks empty and too small. My original artist, Victor, who is a freelance tattooist has been outstation for quite sometimes and hadn’t got the chance to visit me in KL. Btw, for those of you who are interested to get tattoed by Victor, you can set an appointment with him at +6 016 542 9473. He works from hotel rooms, travelling between Malaysia and Thailand. Victor makes house calls too especially if his customer request for big masterpiece on the back.
Since I was back in Kuching the other day, I met up with another friend of mine and asked him to regrind my arm. As I don’t have any specific design in mind, I asked Dom (+6 016 576 6290) to use his own imagination on how best to modify the tat, as long as it is an original piece and come out nice.
There he was, squeezing his brain trying to make me happy. You can tell a good artist by his spontaneous work of art on the customer’s body like Dom here …

Here’s Dom is carving (drawing outline) on the sketch. That part is not painful …

Yes … this part is torturing.

Then comes the slinging of the ink (shading) part.

Here’s the final piece. Give it a few weeks and the new ink will blend with the old one.
