Anfield Trip

In my previous posting, I promised that I’ll put something up about my trip to Anfield back in October 28th 2006. The Sanctuary @ The Curve

Went to this place called The Sanctuary located at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara last Friday for dinner. It’s a nice place that boasts four different concepts which brought a whole new meaning of clubbing. This is one place where you can bar hop without actually leaving the place.

Bamboo chicken, the Bidayuh style!

Asam siok (pronounced: a-sum see-yolk) or chicken with rice in bamboo (or bamboo chicken in short) is an authentic Bidayuh delicacy served normally during special occasions such as Gawai, gatherings or welcoming of special guests/VIPs. The Iban version of bamboo chicken is known as manok pansuh.

Ella rocked Planet Hollywood KL

Malaysian rock queen, Ella rocks Planet Hollywood KL at the club’s Sunday Nite Live party on February 11th 2007. This was not her first appearance at PH but this time around, Ella was there to promote her new album. The show kicked off at half past ten with her new number, Rama-Rama that is also the title of her new album.

Liverpool FC is now sold!

Liverpool FC is now sold to the yankees after we were ditched by DIC about a week ago (see my previous post on LFC). In my personal view, I am truly happy with Mr. Moores’ wise decision to sell his stake (and being made chairman for life) to what it seems will be the perfectly fit new owners (George Gillett Jnr and Thomas O Hicks). Congratulations to the new owners! Thank you David Moores!
