Me: What’s inside?

TfG: Mixture of mince fish (usually tenggiri), spices, mince onions, garlic, chillies, ginger and grated coconut.

Me: Is it nice?

TfG: Very nice. You should try it.

Me: No, thanks.

Me: Is this the best shop along this road?

TfG: They are all the same actually but this is quite popular. But, if you want nice Satar, the other stall at the end of the road is famous. The lady only opens from 4 till 6.

Me: No, thanks. I’m not tempted though.

Me: So many brand. Which one to buy?

TfG: Ask the shop assistant to recommend. I think the one with the white label has more fish than flour.

Me: Some brand will make your tongue itchy though …

Me: This brand looks familiar to me, Cap Ikan Parang but I should try other brand.

Me: Hmmm … dried sotong (squid). This one’s good for BBQ.

TfG: *** He’s going to make my car smelly all the way to KL ***

Me: Look, fresh salted fish but I’m not buying it. I’m not a big fan. In fact, it’ll stink your car.

TfG: *** phewww … I’m lucky ***
