I read the “kidnapping” news of Homer Simpson from GSC One Utama reported on The NST with mixed reactions. I laughed because it was funny but at the same time disgusted to see such lame act happened in our community.

Ok, ok. I admitted I “strangled” Bart Simpson at Cineleisure, The Curve last month but that’s all! The Simpsons, one of my favourite cartoon series lampoons many aspects of the human condition and depicted through this dysfunctional family from the fictional town of Springfield.

As reported by The NST, One Utama’s CCTV managed to record the theft act and the police are investigating the case to nab down the thief.

Motion Picture Association of Malaysia had appealed for the return of Homer before the scheduled The Simpsons movie release next month. There’s an RM1000 reward for Mr. Simpson’s safe return. Happy hunting!
