Dining at The Breeze, Bali

While I was in Bali I took every opportunities to try out the local food. One of the good restaurant is The Breeze, located outside The Yulia Inns at the ever busy Jalan Kuta.

I ordered soto ayam as starter. Served with shredded chicken, bean sprout, tomato, vermicelli and topped with fried potato crisps, this chicken broth was out of this world!

I decided that I must try Balinese version of salted fish fried rice. Out of five, I’d rate it 4.6. Short of 0.4 because they should’ve added more meat in the fried rice.

The Mrs. ordered special fried rice. It came with fried chicken marinated in special sambal, fresh salad, fried egg and keropok udang (prawn crackers). Not bad at all.

The soto ayam was so good that it made me going back there on the last night we were in Bali. What a shame they forgot to serve the soto with shredded chicken so it was plain soto in the end.

I decided that must try their pasta for main dish just to compare with what I had before back in KL and Europe. I did not regret that I ordered their spaghetti marinara. It was excellent!

Carol ordered grilled chicken wings. It came in a hot plate and the waitress then pour their secret sauce on the chicken wings. It was finger lickin’ good!

The Breeze serves both local Indonesian and Balinese meals as well as Western food.

Another of their house specialty is grilled pork chop but I was already too full to try it. Maybe next time …
