The competition between Asian low-cost airliners have made it possible for budget travellers to visit Asian countries especially the South East Asian regions.
One thing that I never had a chance to do right after my graduation was to go backpacking. The Asian culture expects you to find a decent job and build a stable life as soon as you finished school. Furthermore, back in the 90′s low-cost airlines and no-frills hotels were non-existence.
I can bet that three to five years from now, backpacking or road tripping after graduation would soon become a norm in Asia.
