Puss in the boot
I realized I’ve not blogged about The Reds quite often these days. It’s not because that I’m disappointed of their poor form this season but …
This week’s Super Sunday match is a big game. Liverpool vs Man USA. In the past seven matches again Sir Alex’s Man United, Rafa’s Reds only managed to get one point. Can The Reds break this bad spell with Torres and Gerrard’s terrific forms. Apart from Daniel Agger’s long injury woe, Mr. Benitez has a full squad to choose for this Sunday’s match. It means a great Easter gift for Liverpool fans!

Talking about Sunday’s big match, Sir Alex is playing mindgame with Rafa by repeatedly calling for star player Cristiano Ronaldo to receive more protection from officials in the days coming up for this weekend’s match. I’m sure the match’s referee Steve Bennett will not be influenced nor pressured for this call.
Back to this puss in the boot Ronaldo, he is demanding:
1. If opposition players see him recieve the ball he is allowed to do three step overs and a series of keepy-uppy before a tackle is aloud to be made.
2. Opposition players are only allowed to tackle him with their weaker foot, after first telling him of their intent (hand written with a copy sent to the referee).
3. Should any tackle subsequently be succssful in winning the ball from him then he is to be automaticly awarded a free kick, should this occur in the penalty box a penalty is automaticaly awarded and the player sent off with a straight red.
4. If by some chance he trips and falls in the penalty box without anyone actualy tackleing him then the nearest opposition player is booked ( unless that player has actualy tackled him ealier in the game, in which case it is to be a straight red).
5. Referee’s will be informed before every match that Ronaldo’s decision is final in every situation.
6. If a referee (no oppisition objections allowed) should disagree with any of the above rules he has leave to appeal to Sir Alex Ferguson who will make a fair and inpartial judgement before finding in favour of Ronaldo (or Puss in Boots as he is now known).
Failure to adhere to any of the above rules will result in him going to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona. Certainly a big hope from The Reds fans …
