This is now an outmoded post. I was supposed to publish this as soon as we returned from Singapore but busy schedules keeps on delaying it. Anyways, here goes …
After queuing for about 20 mins and paid SG$117 (approx. RM280) for 6 adults + 1 child, we entered Singapore Zoo with high expectation to find out whether the it really makes up to all its accolades and acclaims.

I’ve been to Serikin a couple of times before but never bothered to take pictures. This time, I went with a purpose. I came with a mission to capture the most sought after treasure of Sarawak. Or shall I say gem of Borneo because it is also accustom to our neighbouring Kalimantan Dayaks.

I’m appalled with the Indonesian road system! An ex-colleague of mine used to tell me that he learned to appreciate Kuala Lumpur after he visited Jakarta. At first, I laughed him off because I thought that he’s just trying to keep me happy since he’s an expat living in KL.
It took me a couple of visits to appreciate his fair comment and to understand the reality. When I came to Jakarta last year, I arrived at almost midnight. The traffic was clear and it took me about 45mins to reach …

Today is eve of Chinese New Year. I’d like to wish my Chinese friends Kong Hee Fatt Choy, nian nian you yu Streets of KL are already being deserted, Petaling Street would be tranquil, most shops are closed and Genting casino will be flocked. For me as non-Chinese this means a very long weekend to enjoy. The Mrs and I decided to drive out of town for a short weekend getaway when I received this peculiar text message on Saturday night.
