Took a taxi from LCCT on Monday afternoon. Inside the taxi was very warm because the aircond was not working well that it feels like I’m in a microwave oven. The taxi is dirty and smelly. The driver’s foul body odour made the journey even more unpleasant.

He was driving fast and once in a while his taxi bounced and my head nearly hit the roof almost like riding a horse. I’m 1.67m tall and between my head and the roof there’s a lot of space. So, you can imagine how bumpy the ride was when I said my head nearly hit the roof. Looking at the way he manned the car steering would he be able to respond quickly in case of emergency?
Note to self: Be stern and dare to say no to board such taxi. After all, HSSE comes first and if any bad incident occurred, not only it caused injury to myself but I will receive enquiry from the office for neglecting safety.
