I was browsing through the photo gallery in my camera phone when I came across this picture. I had this sumptuous noodle at Jakarta during my last visit. It’s called Bakmi Ayam Panggang or Roasted Chicken Noodle.
Don’t let the look deceive you. I would say it taste similar to kolo mee but much better. I reckon, if the roasted chicken is replaced with char siu (BBQ pork), it’ll make a “killer” dish that will tempt me to visit the establishment everyday for lunch.
Had it with Sprite Zero. I don’t think we’ve this in KL yet. Have anyone of you seen it in town already?
I also ordered the Udang Gulung as side dishes. Gosh! It was delicious! I wished I should’ve packed some back to KL. The noodle house is on the ground floor of our office in Jakarta. Am looking forward to lunch here again. By the way, the restaurant is halal.
Looks like an elaborated Mee Goreng Mee with vege…
Anyway, the BBQ pork is always the ‘cherry on the top’ of any dish.. hehee
