Just arrived at Oman, 5am local time (9am Malaysian time) Sunday Oct 11th, after a ~14 hours journey (plus transit in Dubai). Will be here for the whole week facilitating programme management workshop.
Meanwhile, here are some views of Muscat taken from my hotel room.
Muscat is a city of low, square white buildings unlike its neighbour Dubai.
The city is enclaved by mountains on one side …
… and the Gulf of Oman on the other side.
Enjoy!
Muscat, Oman look like a resort city…..very beautiful! I, myself, never been to any Middle East country. I hope i’ll have time to visit Dubai in the near future…..

LanDayak # Thanks for visiting my blog. Yes, my visit to Oman changed my perception about the Middle East and its people. It’s actually a nice place to visit. Something different in terms of landscape and culture from what we normally find in the other parts of the world.
Oh bestnye pemandangan! is it hot there as it is here? Meanwhile, Kuching is currently raining.

HB # Thanks for dropping by my humble blog. Not as happening as yours though
My visit to Oman had changed my prespective to the Middle East countries. In general, the Omanis are warm and friendly people. The country has a small population of about 2.4million people. 50% are locals, the rest are expats. The Omanis, are filthy rich too
wahh.. I am really hoping that I can see Dubai main city one day. From pictures, it looks very impressive.

Cyril # Just on transit in Dubai but from bird’s eye view, it is more modern and much bigger than Muscat.
Nice view from your hotel. How about Dubai main city? Have you been there?
