This morning, I diverted from my normal route (via Kesas) to office when I saw that Sunway toll from Puchong was quite clear. I wanted to turn to Federal Highway and then exit at Kerinchi Link to reconnect at Sprint to my office at Damansara Heights. Then suddenly there was a very long crawl on the LDP going down to Federal Highway. I made a quick jump off the queue and head towards Kelana Jaya instead.
Since I was on this route, decided to stop by Taman Megah for a quick breakfast so I could skip lunch later on and have more time to finish up my monthly reports. I made a quick detour to Restoran Good Luck Taman Megah. If you don’t know where it is, the coffee shop is located besides Ming Tien food court. It’s at the corner and shares the same stretch of shoplots with gaming outlets Da Ma Cai and Magnum 4D.
My mission?

Been a while that I haven’t had Kolo Mee so since I’m passing by, why not have a treat. Ordered kolo mee merah besar! (RM4.50). The noodle taste great! Two thumbs up. This is the closest to Kuching kolo mee so far that I can find in KL. I guess this one can beat the stall in Puchong.
The stall also serves Laksa Sarawak and mee/kueh tiaw tomato. I’ve tasted their laksa before and they can’t beat Auntie Christina’s at Lucky Garden. Their mee/kueh tiaw tomato is not bad at all apart from being ‘stingy’ with the amount of meat and seafood in the noodle.
Here’s the google map coordinate.
Bro,
I had tried the Good Luck kolo mee. Not bad, authentic noodle and big portion too! But i still prefer the one at Puchong (Kinrara). Will try the Lake view one next time.
Laksa Sarawak, i prefer the one at Ming Tien, Bandar Sunway. This one is the best so far compare to the one at Lucky Garden.
Cheers!
Bro,
I always lepak at Ming Tien. But didn’t realize that this shop also have kolo mee. Will try it one day. BTW, inside Ming Tien itself also having 1 kolo mee stall. Not bad also but i still prefer the one at Puchong.
The one at Ming Tien is too oily and it is more like kampua than kolo mee. Try this one bro. They also have tomato mee and laksa but their laksa is so-so only. Auntie Christina’s laksa at Lucky Garden Bangsar is still the best.
There’s another good kolo mee at Restoran Lake View, next to IOI mall.
tried this kolo mee before, but a bit oily..
