Everyone seems to be buzzing AirAsia website this week to try their luck on getting a chance to grab some of the offered 1,000,000 free seats. I was targetting to fly to Gold Coast, Australia but unfortunately there was no free seats offered to that part of the world.
Most of my friends posted on their facebook status that they were frustrated to get in as Air Asia web server was too busy to handle too many incoming request. I, on the other hand, quite easily (with some tricks) and successfully grabbed some seats for the first half (1H) of 2011 period. Sorry can’t share you the secret.
Initial plan was to travel once a month but considering that would be too much for little Asher, we cut it down to once every 2 months. The good news is, Carol & I are getting back to doing one of our passion i.e. travel. This time with +2 (little Asher and baby sitter).
If you haven’t check out the promo, it is until May 23rd so hurry up!

Flying is cheap, but when u reach there.. thats the prob. However, AirAsia should seriously increase their bandwith.. Its a norm for the server to be overloaded, and with the the money they earn, the least they could do is pay extra for more bandwith.
