Dirty Duck Diner

Bebek Bengil or Dirty Duck Diner in Ubud Bali is really an excellent restaurant. It first opened in 1990 and has since been serving delicious signature foods and providing wonderful and friendly service that make visitors keep coming back to enjoy its relaxed and unique atmosphere.

Kuala Kubu Bharu Waterfall

I found this website the other day.

Since Thursday was a public holiday, friends of B.I made a picnic trip to the waterfall. It was something different from our usual activities of karaoke and BBQ gatherings. Hence, off we went to Kuala Kubu Bharu (KKB).

Trip to Bali (Part 2)

Our day 3 continues (from Part 1) ..

Our next destination was a pura (temple). Before we could enter the pura, we are required to cover our body especially from the waist downward. According to Putu, body parts below the waist are considered impure hence before you could serve the gods it must be covered. The sarong or the clothes is tied on the waistline. This symbolizes any impurities will not ascend to the upper body to defile the mind and the heart.

Trip to Bali (Part 1)

I’ve been away for three weeks in December last year. I just got back in KL three days ago. For the first two weeks, I was in Kuching (I’ll post about this later) while last week, my wife and I were honeymooning in Bali, Indonesia.

Our arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport at 7pm was welcomed by heavy rain. After a long queue at the immigration due to slow service by their officer (and, No! they don’t smile even when you say thank you ..), we took a taxi to our hotel for Rp50,000.
